Brightspear’s origins can be viewed in this unique and inspiring “War Story” that encompasses who we are, where we come from, and where we’re headed.

We weren’t always a full legion of men and women; in fact, we began the way the Marine Corps did: with a few good men, a few good ideas, and debatably, a few too many drinks. Now, Brightspear represents every branch of military service, as well as National Defense and many Law Enforcement Agencies.

Our consultants have diverse and varied backgrounds from every clime and place. Nowhere else can you find access to former executives, technicians, scholars, designers, and engineers who became warriors and are at your fingertips. Brightspear is composed of lifelong servicemen and women who have served proudly, and are now putting their talents to work for you.

Here is our story:
In the beginning, there were two:
Two successful professionals who were making a name for themselves in the corporate world of America.

We wish we could claim that Brightspear was born in the woods; In fact, the birthplace was more reminiscent of the concrete jungle.

After freedom itself was attacked by a faceless enemy on September 11, 2001, some hung flags, some got angry, and most cried foul. Many courageous women and men gave up their successful careers
in business to defend our nation, and our founders were among those that answered the nation’s call. They left their prosperous business lives and entered the military.

A year later, they were finishing their training at Quantico, Virginia. Knowledge had been gained, bonds formed, and leaders born. They had received a foundation of honor, pride and devotion to excellence.

After completion of their trials at Quantico, our officers found themselves thrust into the fire of war. Within days of graduation, they found themselves off to foreign soil. War was a hard, and hardening, experience. During the ordeal, they gained and lost friends, they accomplished their missions, and they acquired experiences incomparable to anything they had faced before.

Coming home, after several deployments, was a happy occasion that held many opportunities and great promise. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger;
all the experiences had made our founders extraordinary.

Having a keen insight into way, yet looking to rejoin the workforce, the former warriors took special notice of the situation back home. The public, business world, entertainment industry, and corporate culture did not seem to understand much about what was really going on with
the war, much less in the minds of the servicemen and women who fought there.

The founders noticed a profound and growing gap between the two worlds of the civilian and military societies, and that there was, and is, confusion and ignorance in the intermingling of the cultures.

Unsure of how to proceed in an arena that didn’t understand them, our founders drew on their dual lives, creating a future for themselves, their comrades, and their friends. If no one else was going to set the misguided onto the right path, then they would create an organization that would. They created Brightspear.

Brightspear was created out of necessity; the necessity and desire
to get things right. Now Brightspear serves as the premier force, providing information and policy to the many businesses, industries, and corporations who deal in and around the military, law enforcement, and security arenas.

We know that we serve our fellow Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Agents, and officers with everything we do. The better the job we do for our clients, the better we can help our brothers and sisters while they are in harm’s way.

Along the way we’ve met, worked, and served with countless intelligent and creative people; Many have joined our ranks, increasing our depth of knowledge.
